Method and system for determining spatial location of biological components in a sample

AUTORES

Sharpe, James (CRG)

In the field of tissue biology and cancer, it is desirable to know information about the spatiotemporal distribution of biological components of cell machinery, genome status, metabolic products and gene activity, in order to understand tissue biology and cancer. To that end, various different spatial omics techniques have been invented to try and measure genomic seequence, protein levels, epigenetic marker levels, metabolic product levels and gene expression levels in different regions of a biological sample. The present invention relates to a method and system of determining spatial location of biological components in a biological sample.
