PCT/EP2024/057727The present invention relates to the field of catalysts used in hydroformylation reactions. The hydroformylation reaction, also known as oxo process, is an industrial process for the production of aldehydes from alkenes. It consists in the addition of a formyl group (CHO) and a hydrogen atom to a carbon-carbon double bond. This reaction is important because aldehydes may be converted into secondary products in an easy way. This process is usually carried out with high pressures (between 10 and 100 atmospheres) of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, at temperatures between 40ºC and 200ºC, in the presence of transition metal catalysts.
