Gámez Enamorado, Patrick

Patrick Gamez earned his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Université Claude Bernard Lyon I, specializing in Enantioselective Catalysis. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, Université de Strasbourg (UCB Pharma), and Leiden University, where he led a research team. In 2010, he became an ICREA Research Professor at the University of Barcelona, founding the Nanoscience and Bio-Inorganic Chemistry group (www.nanobic.eu). He has authored over 261 publications (h-index: 60) and led multiple research networks. He is the President of the Spanish Bioinorganic Chemical Society (AEBIN) and a member of several prestigious chemistry organizations, including SBIC, RSC, and RSEQ. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers. Previously, he was an Associate Editor of RSC Advances (2015–2017) and has been a Fellow of the RSC since 2016.
