Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder in which abnormal electrical discharges (repetitive action potentials) in the central nervous system (CNS) cause recurrent unprovoked seizures. Abnormal generation of action potentials in damaged nerves is also involved in pain.The present invention relates to a compound of formula or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or stereoisomer thereof, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising said compound, and to their use in the treatment and/or prevention of epilepsy or neuropathic pain.
